ALP CEO and Co-Founder Resigns

Toby Selman, the co-founder and CEO of Africa Logistics Properties has decided to step down from his role as CEO at the end of May 2019 for family reasons. ALP’s current COO, Richard Hough, will take over from Toby as the CEO to lead ALP into its next phase of growth.

Toby built up Africa Logistics Properties from an idea in 2016 into the leading modern warehouse developer and operator in Sub-Saharan Africa. ALP has had a substantial impact on the Kenyan industrial real estate market with the speed, delivery and leasing of its grade-A warehouse projects in Nairobi, the first of their type in the region.

ALP’s flagship logistics and industrial facility, ALP North, of 50,000sqm in Northern Nairobi won Best Warehouse of the Year in the 2018 Africa Property Awards and has achieved significant leasing success with both regional and international companies.
